Tastyfish Studios Demolition

Tastyfish Studios, on Ridge St. between Rivington and Clinton,
recently lost its lease and was forced to close down.
On Sept. 1st, 2001, a demolition party was held by some 25 friends, who
destroyed walls, furniture, and all signs of order at the defunct studio.
It provided an outlet for some of the rage provoked by the forces
which have been changing the nature of the Lower East Side.
