The Dwarvish battle cry, and a little bit more. It is a combination of Khuzdul (Dwarvish) and transliterated English. It reads "Baruk Khazad, Khazad Aimenu" (Khuzdul for 'Axes of the Dwarves, the Dwarves are upon you.') Followed by "-D" (I think this is a scribal error and was intended to be "-DH," shorthand for "The;") then "Khazad" again ("Dwarves"), and then it switched to transliterated English and reads "battle cry." There are very few known words from Khuzdul, the Dwarves being a secretive lot, but the battle cry was well known to all the peoples of Middle Earth, and feared by many. Your son clearly knew a lot about the books. -- Steve Aultman
