During the last week of August 2001, Girls On Top took New York City by storm, playing thrashing Rock 'n' Roll music to excited crowds.

They were "discovered" by NYC Idea Man RT Pierce, who lined up gigs for them at NY clubs CBGBs, Don Hill's, Arlene Grocery, and High Noon Saloon in Seaford, Long Island.
